About the package

Although our physicians are no longer actively delivering babies. At Taracare we remain deeply committed to advancing maternal health. We believe in providing comprehensive prenatal care to women who may not otherwise have proper access due to socioeconomic barriers.

As a member of the Georgia Maternal Health Task Force, we have made maternal care one of the core pillars of our practice. We are intentional about coordinating, monitoring, and closely supporting our patients throughout their pregnancy journey.

Through consistent follow-up, education, and advocacy, we work to ensure that every mother is optimized for delivery — improving outcomes and enhancing the overall birth experience.

Our Ultimate Goal

With Georgia ranking among the worst states in the nation for maternal mortality, expanding access to quality prenatal care is not optional — it is essential.

At TaraCare DPC, we provide comprehensive prenatal care to all of our members at no additional cost. Our goal is to widen access, eliminate barriers, and encourage the consistent follow-up necessary to optimize each patient’s pregnancy experience.

We work closely with local OB providers, doulas, and midwives to ensure seamless coordination and safer continuity of care. Strong collaboration allows our patients to feel supported at every stage of their journey.

Evidence consistently shows that many complications during the antenatal period are linked to limited access and poor follow-up. By improving access and maintaining close monitoring, we aim to reduce preventable risks and better prepare our patients for delivery.

Our mission at TaraCare DPC is simple: provide the foundation of strong prenatal care so that when the time comes, our patients can be confidently and safely transitioned to the skilled men and women who will deliver their babies.
